Who we are

ScanPay is operated by StorePay, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“ScanPay”, “we”, or “us”). ScanPay partners with Stripe Payments Company for money transmission and account services, with funds held at Fifth Third Bank N.A., Member FDIC. The identity of ScanPay’s banking partner(s) is disclosed at goscanpay.com/licenses.

What we collect and why

To open and operate a merchant account, ScanPay collects identity and business information required by law — including KYC/KYB verification data. Social Security numbers are encrypted, used only for legally required verification, and never shared or sold. Payment card details entered by your customers go to Stripe’s PCI-compliant systems; ScanPay does not expose them to merchants.

Compliance

ScanPay complies with Money Transmitter License requirements and anti-money-laundering (AML) law. Financial and KYC records are retained for a minimum of five years as regulation requires. California residents have the rights described in the CCPA notice within the canonical policy. ScanPay’s services are not directed to children under 13.

Your choices

  • Access, correction and deletion requests: email support@goscanpay.com (deletion is subject to regulatory retention).
  • SMS: by providing your phone number you agree to receive text messages from ScanPay; frequency varies and rates may apply. ScanPay does not share your number with other parties.
  • Cookies: the site uses cookies to improve your experience; continuing to browse constitutes consent.
